Woodworking has been a central part of my life since childhood, deeply rooted in my experiences on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Growing up, I learned the value of self-sufficiency as I crafted everything from treehouses to unique farm toys that were not available for purchase. These early projects laid the groundwork for the items I create today. My father and uncles were my role models, demonstrating how foresight and hard work could turn ideas into reality. Additionally, I was fortunate to have a retired neighbor who was a skilled woodworker; I would eagerly bike to his home to watch him at work. His guidance inspired me to explore new techniques and fostered the confidence I needed to elevate my skills. After earning an associate degree in architectural technology, I dedicated myself to honing my craft further. The journey from farm projects to professional woodworking continues to shape my artistic vision.

Throughout my journey as an artist, I have had the privilege of selling my work to some of the finest galleries and shops across the country, so there’s a chance you may have encountered my pieces in person. My boxes have undergone significant evolution over the years, largely influenced by the invaluable feedback and suggestions from my customers.
